Penglai county in Yantai, Shandong province, as one of the regions along the Marine Silk Road, attended the Silk Road Tourism Commodities Fair held in Jiayuguan city, Gansu province, on June 16.

The tourism bureau displayed Penglai-featured tourism products, including gourds and seafood, which received good response from visitors.

During the event, Penglai also signed an agreement with Jiayuguan to strengthen tourism cooperation and boost mutual tourism development.

The fair was a key part of the 5th Dunhuang Tour-Silk Road Tourism International Festival. It served as a platform to promote tourism along the Silk Road, display tourism products and enhance tourism cooperation among cities and countries along the route.

The tourism festival was attended by 20 countries and cities around the world, including France, Italy and Canada.
