Representatives from the South Korean city of Gunsan attended an exhibition and meeting in Yantai, Shandong province, from June 5 to 8. The events were held to enhance mutual cooperation and explore the possibilities of joint development between the two cities.

The exhibition displayed South Korean products, such as food, medical equipment and machinery.

A meeting held at the event attracted over 200 government officials and enterprise leaders. It focused on the introduction of the China-South Korea industrial park in Yantai and the Saemangeum economic zone in South Korea. Enterprises from the two cities held negotiations with each other during the meeting.

The activities aimed at bringing closer ties between Chinese enterprises - especially those in Yantai - and Gunsan's companies.
