Students get closer to aerospace science technologies in Yantai
An exhibition featuring aerospace science was held at Yantai International Exhibition Center on March 12.
The exhibition consists of exhibition area and experience area for residents and students to get a closer look at the latest aerospace technologies.
The space exhibition area displays a total of 60 pieces highlighting the fruitful results in China's space industry. It not only has satellite, moon exploration project and spacecraft, but also some collections such as debris from the rocket and used parachutes.
The interaction experience area is set up with VR space experience. Viewers can visit the core module of the space station, though VR technology,from the perspective of astronauts.
Hosted by Yantai Municipal Education Committee, China Hi-tech Industrialization Research Association, the exhibition aims to showcase the remarkable achievements of China's space industry, carry forward the spirit of China's space activities and inspire teenagers in their "space dream".
It opens from 9:00 to 17:00 until April 3. Students from primary and secondary schools in the city can visit the space exhibition area free of charge, and choose the interactive experience project based on personal needs.
