The closing ceremony of the 10th China Acrobatics Golden Chrysanthemum Awards was held in Penglai, Shandong province on Sept 20.

Ten troupes from Shandong, Hebei, Henan, Zhejiang provinces, and Wuhan, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai and elsewhere won the prestigious competition, which is widely acknowledged as the highest honor in Chinese acrobatics.

Thanks to the national contest, this year's peak tourist season in the county-level city started before the National Day holiday. It's estimated that Penglai received about 100,000 tourists during the five-day contest.
