Folk artist Ji Zhenshan has made a series of artworks to celebrate the great achievements of Chinese athletes at the Rio Olympics. The head portraits of Olympic champions such as Sun Yang, Wu Minxia and Zhang Mengxue are painted on egg-shaped gourds using an electric soldering iron.
