World-famous watercolor masters hold exhibition in Qingdao
A watercolor exhibition was held at the Qingdao Art Museum on July 12, displaying 102 paintings by three world-famous watercolor artists, Eugen Chisnicean, Frederick Graff and John Leonard Hoar, according to Qingdaonews.com.
The exhibition, organized by Qingdao Newspaper Media Group, will last for six days, and is part of the second Qingdao International Watercolor Salon.
Eugen Chisnicean, who is from Moldova, began using watercolors in 2007 and has since gone on to captivate the art world with his colorful, vivid and joyful works.
The American painter Frederick Graff has been awarded numerous international prizes, for his works which often carry a fresh, cool, and colorful tone.
John Leonard Hoar is one of the greatest UK-born watercolor artists, who uses a smooth and natural style and specializes in impressionism. He is considered an expert on architecture, landscapes, coastal scenes and plants.
