As one of the three major military museums in the country, the Chinese Navy Museum is the only one featuring the Chinese naval history. It is a demonstration base for patriotism and science education, a scenic spot for Red Tourism and a Chinese-foreign military exchange platform.
In order to improve the educational function of the museum, the navy called for exhibits and relics for the new museum to help learn about the historical events, important personalities and traditions of the Chinese navy.
