China's State Council unveiled a national plan in May, dubbed "Made in China 2025," focusing on promoting manufacturing. The plan, authorized by Premier Li Keqiang, is the first 10-year action plan designed to transform China from a manufacturing giant into a world manufacturing power.
Intelligent manufacturing is the core of the country's "Made in China 2025" plan, and robotics is also mentioned in the country's new five-year plan, which will guide national economic development for 2016-2020.
Industrial robots are used in various industries, including the automotive, electronic, mechanical and chemical industries, among others.
