The bureau said that the full-scale quality check will ensure the high standards of food products being exported from Shandong province throughout the world.

Statistics from last year show the city exported a total of 3,804 tons of produced food, worth 3.9 billion yuan ($605.2 million). The main exported products were canned vegetables to Denmark, Belgium, Spain, Germany, France and other European countries.
