Tourism industry contributes a big chunk to Tai'an's fiscal revenue
Tai'an's tourism industry had fiscal revenue of 7.35 billion yuan ($1.13 billion) in 2014, accounting for 39.2 percent of the total in Tai'an. It achieved tax revenue of 3.98 billion yuan in 2014, 21.2 percent of Tai'an's total.

The 2015 Mount Tai International Tourism Aerial Photograph Competition was held in Tai'an, Shandong province from Sept 7 to 11, 2015.
