The city of Qingdao, Shandong province now has 112 Level-A scenic spots, with five newly added to the category on Dec 7, according to the city's tourism bureau.

The five new 3A-level scenic spots are Mashan Geological Park and Rose Town of Jimo city, Qingdao West Coast Ecological Sightseeing Park and Qingdao Vanilla Garden of Huangdao District, and Qingdao Fresh Farm of Laixi city.

The Mashan Geological Park, featuring distinctive geological relics, has evolved into a leisure park for exercise, sightseeing and cultural exhibition.

The Rose Town has more than 300 kinds of roses. Visitors can experience the rose bush planting process. It also supports R&D of botanical products.
