Qingdao Airlines will open a direct flight between Qingdao in Shandong province and Kunming in Yunnan province from Sept 15.

Flight number QW9801/2 will be the first flight to link the two cities directly. It will operate daily, departing Qingdao at 20:55 and arriving in Kunming at 00:30. The return leg will depart Kunming at 07:00 and arrive in Qingdao at 10:20.
