A pair of bullet trains has been added to run between Yantai and Rongcheng, two cities in Shandong province, since July 1, according to an announcement of Yantai railway station.

One train D6098 runs at 6:20 am from Rongcheng and stops in Yantai at 7:32 am while the other D6099 starts from Yantai at 7:55 am and arrives in Rongcheng at 9:20 am.

Along with two night trains that have come into operation since May 20 this year, the newly added trains bring more convenience to visitors.

The Qingdao-Rongcheng high-speed railway, Shandong province's first inter-city line, which opened to traffic on Dec 28, 2014, has boosted Yantai and Rongcheng's tourism, especially the weekend and one-day tours.

In addition, both Yantai and Rongcheng's railway stations have improved their service to better satisfy tourists.
