Qingdao has for the fourth time made it to the list of the 10 most attractive Chinese cities for expats, according to a survey result announced on Mar 9.

The coastal city scored high in the ranking's four important indexes. Foreigners living in various cities across China were asked to rate their cities for policies for foreign professionals, the working environment, living conditions and some other categories.

The other cities rated on the list alongside Qingdao were Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Xiamen and Kunming.

This is the fifth time the results of such ranking, organized by the International Talent magazine and China Society for Research on International Professional Personnel Exchange and Development, has been announced. Between July and December 2014, nearly 20,000 foreign professionals throughout China were surveyed.
