The sixth Yantai International Wine Exposition will be held from June 27 to 29 in Yantai, a coastal city of East China's Shandong province.
The three-day event will showcase a wide range of products at 644 booths, including over 2,000 kinds of wine, brandy, whisky and rum. It will also feature chateaus of different flavors, cultural and tourist products and wine brewing and storage equipment.
More than 500 exhibitors from top wine producing countries, ranging from France, Spain and South Africa to Italy and Chile are expected to participate in the event and showcase their premium products.
A number of world leading wine producers have confirmed their participation including the domestic Changyu, Great Wall, Weilong, Dynasty, and Nanshan Land. Lafite Rothschild and Mouton Rothschild from France, Chateau Montelena from the United States, and Nederburg from South Africa will also be in attendance.
Sitevinitech China, an international expo that specializes in grape planting technologies and equipment, wine brewing, bottling and packaging, will also be held during the event.
Other activities include an international wine quality contest, a wine technology development forum, fine wine auctions, wine culture workshops, and wine-themed sightseeing and trade talks.
