Heavy fog has grounded all flights in an airport in east China's coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong province, airport operators said On May 2.
The fog has decreased visibility to no more than 20 meters, delaying departure or landing of all flights at the Qingdao Liuting International Airport, sources with the airport said.
About 2,000 passengers were affected by the fog, according to the sources.
As of 8:10 am, 23 flights remained delayed while some of the flights resumed after fog dispersed gradually, the sources said.
