Built in 1975, the Shandong Sport Center Gymnasium was opened in December, 1979. It has a construction area of 14,349 sq m, with over 8,000 seats. With an inside field measuring 25×47 sq m, it has held many conferences, performances and all kinds of competitions.

During the 11th National Games, the gymnasium will stage the Men’s Top 8 Finals (October 26—28).
