Make time for beautiful flowers and sweet scents in the hot days of summer at the Qingdao Botanic Garden where lavender, Chinese roses, and tickseeds are all in full bloom.
Located at the southern foot of Taiping Mountain of Shinan district, the 100 hectare Qingdao Botanic Garden was founded in 1976.
The garden is home to more than 1,000 herbaceous and woody plants, including many rare and endangered varieties, making it an important base for protecting, developing and popularizing elite plant varieties in China.
The garden is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
