Qingdao to build overseas talent workstation in Silicon Valley

Liu Mingjun, deputy mayor of Qingdao, coastal city of Shandong province, was given an inspection tour of TIPark Silicon Valley in San Francisco on September 18.
The Qingdao delegation signed a cooperative agreement with THTI Holding to set up an overseas skills workstation in Silicon Valley to introduce and train overseas experts. It also signed a cooperative deal with ChinaSF, a collaborative public-private economic development initiative operated by the San Francisco Center for Economic Development and the City of San Francisco, to establish the Qingdao Industry and Commerce Center.
TIPark Silicon Valley is a US-China technology start-up incubator based in the heart of Silicon Valley, California. Founded in 2013, TIPark Silicon Valley is a joint project between THTI Holding (a subsidiary of Tsinghua Holdings Co., LTD) and Zhongguancun Haidian Science Park. It aims to encourage start-up companies in both US and China to go beyond their borders, to expand their overseas markets and to promote business communications and cooperation between Silicon Valley and China.
