The Wei Chen charity organization will celebrate its sixth anniversary with an auction on July 11 at Hyatt Regency in Qingdao, Shandong province.

There are 59 objects up for auction, including calligraphies and paintings of celebrities, porcelains and jade articles. In addition, Li Yongbo, head coach of the Chinese National Badminton Team, will donate anniversary edition trophies of the Thomas Cup, Uber Cup and Sudirman Cup to encourage people to help others.

Another highlight is the Wei Chen Puzzle of Coins, which consists of coins donated by people from different countries, such as the United States, France and Thailand.

Li Yongbo will act as the ambassador for Wei Chen. Singer Jiang Tao and film actor Huang Xiaoming will also give performances.

Wei Chen Charity Fund is a charitable fundraising organization in Qingdao, Shandong province. The organization donates money for disaster relief and children’s welfare, such as during the SARS epidemic in 2003, Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004, and the flood in Hunan province in 2005.
