Lingshanwan Film/TV Studio will be built in the Qingdao West Coast New Area, a national-level hi-tech development area, according to Qingdao West Coast Development Group Co., Ltd on July 7.

With a total investment of more than 120 billion yuan, the film studio includes 11 programs, such as the film and television industry park, convention center, culture creative industry park and international health club. West Coast Development Group plans to invest 30 billion in construction of a movie shooting and producing base, star-rated hotels and bar street.

In addition, with a total area of 352,000 square meters, a large indoor theme park in the film and television industry park is under construction to help remove the depression of Qingdao’s tourism in winter.

West Coast Development Group hopes to build Lingshanwan studio into a destination for both filming and traveling, which will bring 20 million tourists to the west coast in Qingdao, a city of sailing, music and film in China.
