A DoubleTree party in Hilton Chengyang district of Qingdao city, Shandong province offered a truly festive atmosphere with a tree lighting on Dec 2, 2011.

A sky high Christmas tree stood tall in the lobby, accompanied by soft Christmas music playing in the background and colorful gift boxes garnishing the room. Complimentary Gluehwein and Stollen was offered to guests while a choir by the "CARE Committee" members of the hotel sang traditional Christmas carols.

Santa surprised guests by riding in on a Harley Davidson motorcycle and the night wound down to a close with the hotel's General Manger Chris Roberts inviting guests and corporate partners to light the tree together.

The hotel also prepared a large Christmas basket with treats and sold it at the Christmas House in the lobby. On December 24, The Riverside Café located on the first floor of the hotel will have a lavish Christmas Eve dinner with prizes to be won by attending guests. Tickets are being sold now, so pick them up before it's too late.
