The Ninth China Stone Exhibition & Third Urban Landscaping Expo opened Saturday. The ten-day event is free and open to the public.
Flowers decorate 29 venues at the event. Pingdu Park puts up a grape trellis, promoting the famous Dazeshan Grape. Willow trees, kiosks and fountains are also on display in Shandong Province’s Jinan Park.
To facilitate the park visit, the Urban Bureau of Parks and Woods set up direction boards and an orientation diagram, so tourists can easily find the spot.
The expo focuses on cyclic development and novel landscape architecture to promote environmentally friendly and unique gardening showcases. Some of the pavilions will become a permanent part of the city’s landscape.
