Covering an area of 10,000 square meters, the exhibition attracted over 160 businesses from China’s Liaoning, Sichuan, and Guangdong provinces, who gathered to display their products, which were from a variety of fields such as building materials, electromechanical devices and decorative lighting.
Over 40 businesses from Shenyang and other cities in Liaoning province occupied 38 exhibition booths out of a total of 300.
Meanwhile, about 800 government agencies and businesses from 30 countries in the Middle East and Africa registered to conduct purchasing negotiations.
It was the second time that China has held a large exhibition themed “technology and architecture” in Qatar.
In 2015, the first exhibition attracted 4,500 professional purchasing agents during the 3-day event, which saw agreements for deals worth around $45 million. And intentional transaction volumes hit $450 million.
