After the successful launch of the Shenzhou-11 spacecraft, two Shenyang-based enterprises come into the public light because their products were used conjunction with in the Shenzhou-11 spacecraft project.

The first was the provider of a special explosion-proof elevator for the launch tower that carried the Shenzhou-11 spacecraft: Liaohai Lift Co. It’s a major elevator product provider in China, and the company undertakes research, design, production, and other services all related to lifts.

Established in 1986, Liaohai Lift Co is famous for the high reliability, security, and environmental suitability of its military and national defense products. Since 1996, the business has provided services for China’s three satellite launch centers — Xichang Satellite Launch Center, JiuquanSatellite Launch Center, and Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center — and has witnessed the development of China’s space industry.

The other Shenyang-based business is Shenyang Aerospace Xinguang Group Co, which has been developing the connection and separation devices for Shenzhou aircraft since 1997. As one of the top ten key technologies for Shenzhou aircraft, the connection and separation devices play an incredibly important role in the successful launch of the spacecraft.

Shenyang Aerospace Xinguang Group Co, one of China’s first aerospace manufacturing enterprises, conducts business for manned spaceflight, lunar exploration, commercial satellite launches, and other major space projects in key technologies and products. The enterprise also provides products for the civilian market, with its current core businesses covering civil aerospace, energy equipment, power accessories, pressure vessels, and modem logistics.
