Xiantao Airport in the city of Shenyang, Liaoning province has put its duty-free shop with imported goods into full operation recently, and things sold there are mainly cigarettes, wines, cosmetics and baby formula, which are popular among Chinese customers, Liaoning Daily reports on Mar 4.

This is in line with a policy from China's Finance and Commerce ministries, the General Customs Administration, State Tax Administration, and the National Tourism Administration which have allowed duty-free stores in 13 airports and six water and land ports nationwide. The Xiantao Airport shop was approved last September and has sold about 4 million yuan in goods since then.
