Liaoning province and the Czech Republic held a meeting for business people and officials to discuss investment and cooperation at the Friendship Hotel in the city of Shenyang, Liaoning, on Nov 27, with company representatives from 14 cities across the province taking part and Czech officials explaining their investment environment and related policies.

Their cooperation is a part of China's Belt and Road Initiative. And Liaoning has been a partner of the Czech Republic for some time, in equipment manufacturing, energy, and mining, with a Liaoning foreign trade and economic cooperation official noting, "Our cooperation has great depth and is more than mere trade."
