The 14th China International Equipment Manufacturing Exposition and the first China Shenyang International Robots Exhibition opened at Shenyang International Exhibition Center, on Sept 1, 2015, and will run until Sept 5.

This year’s expo features intelligent robots, 3D printing, rail technology, and new energy equipment.

Themed “equipment manufacturing and advanced technology”, the exposition has been held for 13 successive years since the first in 2002. With the support of the Ministry of Commerce, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Liaoning Provincial Government, the exposition is being hosted by Shenyang government.

The exposition is providing 4,000 booths, covering an area of 110,000 square meters. A total of 849 companies from home and abroad have signed up for the event, including prominent companies such as Mitsubishi, Stanley, and Samsung.

Domestic companies from 17 provinces and regions are also in attendance and the trade delegation from Suzhou has taken over a whole exhibition hall for its companies.

Besides machine tools and industrial automatic equipment, this year’s expo is also exhibiting high-end intelligent equipment.

World famous robotics companies are in attendance with booths for energy-saving equipment, ocean engineering equipment and industrial design.

Other events such as a 3D printing competition, demonstrations of robots and numerically-controlled machine tools, as well as a welding competition are expected to take place over the next few days.
