The "ice plate" appears in Liaodong Bay.
Recently, rare but splendid scenery appeared on the frozen water surface of Liaodong Bay at Jieshi scenic spot in Huludao city, China's Liaoning Province, and it has attracted lots of people to pay a visit.
Countless circles in the shape of round plates of different sizes are "studded" on the ocean ice surface, and some of them even connect together. The diameter of the biggest circle is about 10 meters and that of smallest is about 2 to 3 meters.
The U.S. Wired Magazine published a report in 2010 and listed the appearance of a round ice plate on Lake Baikal, the world's deepest lake, in 2009 as one of top 10 most popular odd news of the year.
Such mysterious sceneries have appeared in Russia, United Kingdom and some other countries, but was the first time in China.
