"Bohai Fei Zhu” formally starts traveling from Yantai to Dalian

"Bohai Fei Zhu”, the largest and the most luxurious, advanced and secure ro-ro ship ever designed and built by China, formally started its first trip from Yantai to Dalian on June 1. Six large luxury ro-ro ships have been built and put into operation in the Bohai Gulf.

"Bohai Ferry spent a total of 2 billion yuan to build those six ships,” said Yu Xinjian, general manager of the company.

According to Yu, the newly launched “Bohai Fei Zhu” cost 350 million yuan. It can hold the most passengers and vehicles in China. It is 163.95 meters long and 25 meters wide, with total tonnage of plus 20,000. It can hold up to 260 vehicles and 1630 passengers.

Recreational facilities include a satellite TV System and wireless Internet.
