The Festival, which comes on Sept 27 this year, is China's traditional way of celebrating the full moon with get-togethers and mooncakes. So, the Changchun Kaiyuanmingdu Hotel group, lead by Zhu Xiaoguang, its general manager, visited a nursing home in the city’s Lvyuan district, and brought mooncakes, milk and fruits as festival gifts.
And, this was not their first visit, as the director of the nursing home noted, "The hotel has kept this practice of visiting us on the Mid-Autumn Festival alive, every year, since its opening," then added that the elderly citizens are grateful for the responsibility they shoulder and the care they extend.
