Jilin getting direct flights to Korea China’s Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture, in Jilin province will start direct flights to Busan, So Korea three times a week, now that an agreement has been reached with the Busan tourism bureau, on Oct 30.
This will give more Yanbian students easier access to Busan and will save them time, and group tourists from the Korean ethnic group can visit Korea for five working days visa-free if they are on their way to Korea’s Jeju Island.
Busan is So Korea's second largest city and saw 780,000 tourists, in 2013, and it expects to attract more people through special package deals, including cosmetic surgery trips or simply elderly people looking for relaxation.
