Two university students who were lost in the primitive forest of Changbai Mountain Nature Reserve on Monday were rescued on Tuesday, Xinhuanet.com reported.

The students had planned to hike through the reserve over three days and two nights, following their own route. They sent a message to classmates asking for help after getting lost. Nearly 100 people joined the search.
