Canyon rafting experience tour opens in Mingyue Mountain

The opening ceremony of the canyon rafting experience tour was held in the Mingyue Mountain Hot Spring scenic spot in Wentang town on Sept 9.

The Mingyue Mountain canyon rafting tour along the Jiangyuan River is known as the "first rafting tour in China". The riversides feature steep mountains, fantastic rocks, lush vegetation and beautiful landscapes. The rafting is thrilling as the river falls 238 meters, with the biggest drop reaching more than 20 meters.

The activity is part of the sixth Mingyue Cultural Festival. Participants on opening day enjoyed discounts with tickets costing only 80 yuan ($12.70). Students from colleges and universities can directly purchase group tickets with their student card or ID card during the festival.
