Lushan Mountain tourists reach one million in July

More than one million tourists visited Lushan Mountain in July 2012, according to the management bureau. The number is a new high compared with the same period in previous years.

The number of individual tourists to Lushan Mountain accounted for 50 percent of the total. More people chose personalized tours instead of tour groups. Over 2,000 automobiles entered the scenic spot each day in July.

In a bid to provide convenience for tourists, the management bureau of Lushan Mountain added ticket offices and prolonged working hours. Traffic police also made efforts to ensure the smooth flow of traffic.
