Tour guide training session held in Shicheng

The Shicheng County tourist administration held a tour guide training session last month to improve the county's tourism level.

The training session was hosted by Liang Hongpei, a national senior tour guide and director of Hong Kong and Macao Compatriots Reception Centre in Guangdong Province.

The lecture focused on reception, communication skills, emergency management and customer service. It was the largest lecture of its kind ever held in Shicheng. Over 125 tour guides attended the lecture and participated in heated discussion.

The Shicheng tourist administration said more training lectures will be held to improve tour guide quality in Shicheng.
