Nanchang sees increase in outbound travelers

The outbound travelers in Nanchang reached 20,529 in the first half of 2012, according to Changbei International Airport Customs.
Inbound and outbound travelers totaled 42,443 in the same period, up 62.8 percent year-on-year. The number of inbound and outbound travelers was 10,898 in May and 11,694 in June, hitting a record high for monthly travel numbers.
Over 90 percent of the travelers are tourists, according to the airport customs. The travelers between Jiangxi and Taiwan reached 31,915 in the first six months, accounting for 75.19 percent of the total travelers. Three out of every four inbound travelers came from Taiwan.
