With the theme of "Approach forests and embrace nature", the forest tourism photography contest was launched by the Forestry department of Jiangxi province and the Provincial Photography Association.
Ji'an is famous for its rich natural resources. Its forest coverage is up to 65.5 percent with more than 3,500 varieties of plants. Ji'an has 21 nature reserves and 17 forest parks that cover an area of 307 hectares. The Jinggang Mountain, Wugong Mountain and Qingyuan Mountain scenic spots are representative of the forest scenery in Ji'an and provide rich resources and inspiration for photographers.
The photography contest will go through three phases: creation, evaluation and photo exhibition. The prizes for the contest consist of the first, the second, the third prize and the excellence award. As a result of the contest, photographs will be showed at an exhibition and collected to be published.
