The unique local snacks of Jingdezhen are mainly prepared from flour in various ways. They can be made as Jiaoziba (dumpling made of sticky rice), Jianshuiba (alkaline sticky rice), or fried wonton along with other snacks. You can only eat them here in Jingdezhen. Other special cuisines include: steamed pork with rice flour, clay-baked chicken and etc. They are sold in restaurants, snack bars and food stands at reasonable prices.

Food Area

Daijianong offers choice food than any other place in Jingdezhen. Daijianong area is home to an important ceramic factory. According to the shapes and painting techniques of the unearthed porcelains, the factory dates back to the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279). In recent years, with the development of the local economy, the area has been growing at a gathering place of Jingdezhen special snacks. Tourists can also buy souvenirs of Jingdezhen here. You can take bus No 18, No 20, and No103 from downtown to Daijianong.

You also have the opportunity to taste special cuisines of other areas in Jiangxi province. The average price per meal per person is 30 yuan.
