Na dish, a local flavor snack of Guixi, Jiangxi province, originated in Longhu (Dragon and Tiger) Mountain, the holy land of Taoism. It is thus referred to as Taoist dish of Longhu Mountain. Many Taoists from Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Hong Kong, would try the dish when they visited Longhu Mountain. They would say it was "the only and best dish in the country". Since then, people try Na dishes to pay tribute to emperors. So, it is also called the tribute dish to the imperial court.

Na dish is known for its fresh, aromatic, crisp, tender, salty and peppery tastes. It contains multiple digestive ferments, amino acids, vitamins and vector elements. It has the functions of promoting appetite, inducing perspiration, dispelling colds, preventing car sickness and vomiting, treating and preventing influenza. It is a good item to present as gifts and entertain honored guests.
