Five-snake alcohol is made by integrating the traditional soaking and modern seeping methods. The main raw stuff comprises of either a living long-nodded pit viper, coral snake, cobra, zaocys or yellow garter snake of Jiangxi province. The alcohol is made of quality grains, supported by 20 precious Chinese medicinal plants, including radix angelicae, poria, licorice root, safflower, pawpaw, medlar, polygonum multiflorum and hizoma imperatae.
