A new international school is to be launched in Taoqiao town, Zhangjiagang, to provide an international education environment for children in the city. The inauguration ceremony was held on March 23.

Peking University New Century School is a 12-year boarding international school enrolling kindergarten, primary school, junior high school and senior high school students. It is run by Taoqiao town, Peking University New Century Education Group and Suzhou Weiye Group.

Founded in 1999, the Peking University New Century Education Group is supported by the department of science and technology development from Peking University and is a well-known education agency in China.
