As a industrial park in Jinfeng Town, Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu, Yangtze Metallurgical Industrial Park (YMIP) has been named a National Health Town, China's Green Town and China's Environmental Beautiful Town among other titles as well as National Civilized Town title for consecutive years.

YMIP and Jinfeng Town implemented the "Combination of Town and District" management system in October 2013. With an area covering 114 square kilometers, it boasts  more than 1,400 different enterprises including Shagang Group and Pohang Iron and Steel Co among five other enterprises in Global Fortune 500.

YMIP features four major industries, namely metallurgy, new-type construction material, mechanical equipment and medical devices, as well as eight industrial carriers including Jiangsu Metallurgical Technology Research Institute, a high-end industrial cluster, Jiulong Logistics Park and Shazhou Building. It is expected that its added value of service sector and the output value of emerging industries will account for over 35% of its total industrial output value by 2020.
