The 8th Yangtze River Drama Festival will take place from Nov 4 to 14 in Zhangjiagang, a beautiful port city in East China's Jiangsu province.

Co-organized by the China Theater Association and the People's Government of Zhangjiagang City, a series of classic drama will be staged at the city’s landmark public cultural facility, Zhangjiagang Grand Theater, and in towns and culture theatres, offering an art and cultural feast for local residents.

This year's drama festival consists of an excellent drama performance, a local Zhezixi (highlights of drama) tour show and a Jiangsu famous opera artists' performance.
