More than 50 industry bosses and experts from Zhangjiagang took part in a promotional event at Jiangsu Yinhe Electronics Company on June 13, to exchange experiences and explore ways to strengthen the city's competitiveness in electronics.
The electronics manufacturer's intelligent equipment was on display for the guests, leaving them deeply impressed.
"The material bending step which needs three people to operate can now be done with a robot," said Yu Xiangdong, Yinhe's product assistant manager. "At the same time the robot eliminates the potential risk of manual operation."
Imported from Germany, Japan, the US and the UK, the intelligent equipment has been upgraded with a leading robot electronic control system independently developed by Yinhe.
Established in 1975, Yinhe bore great pressure early on due to backwards technology and low productivity. By bringing in advanced technology and fostering high-tech personnel, the company has now taken the lead in automated production with huge a improvement in processing and scientific research abilities.
"Innovation leads development," said Huang Xueyuan, vice mayor of Zhangjiagang. "The progress made in intelligent manufacturing is huge so far." The mayor also visited Yinhe on the day and expressed his appreciation for the achievements in the industry.
