The city of Zhangjiagang in Jiangsu province recently received publicity in Europe when Nouvelles d'Europe, a famous Chinese-language newspaper in France, dedicated a whole page to report on the city's economic achievements and sound investment environment.

Zhangjiagang's overseas affairs offices have been committed to promoting Zhangjiagang around the world. Last year, the city was featured in a Chinese-language newspaper in Japan. Nouvelles d'Europe's coverage on Zhangjiagang further helped to raise the city's global profile.

Nouvelles d'Europe was first published in France on Jan 1, 1983, and is an influential Chinese-language newspaper in Europe.
