Introduction: With a series of flashbacks, the drama depicts the moving stories of a liberation army that heads to the Tibet autonomous region 60 years ago. The soldiers suffer from starvation, disease and death. They take in soldiers left behind or injured and look for lost animals.

The drama brings audiences back to the years of war, reminding them of those admirable soldiers who shed blood for the liberation of the Chinese people.

The troupe head said that it's a good chance for them to show Tibetan opera culture to Zhangjiagang residents, as well as to learn from other troupes.
