The first China (Zhangjiagang) Yangtze River Folk Art Expo will run from Nov14 to 16 in the sports stadium of Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu province.

The expo will include an exhibition of Chinese folk art, a seminar on inheritors of folk arts and crafts, a symposium on the Chinese folk culture industry, an auction of folk art works and a selection activity for the Golden Chrysanthemum Award, which is an award for Yangtze River folk art.

The event serves as an important platform for art work trading and will boost the folk culture industry along the Yangtze River.
