Zhangjiagang sets up SME alliance

A small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) alliance was created in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu province, on Aug 28 to boost the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises.
There are 10,800 industrial enterprises in Zhangjiagang, among which 10,762 are small and medium-sized enterprises. SMEs are playing a key role in promoting the city's industrial restructuring and economic transformation.
Zhangjiagang has attached great importance to the development of SMEs. The new alliance has attracted 28 members that are service organizations related to technology, management, training, finance, law and entrepreneurship. The alliance will integrate resources of government departments and social organizations and provide services including enterprise management, technical support, financing guarantee and legal aid.
