The city of Zhangjiagang launched its first map for public bus routes on August 26, 2013. The map covers the lanes of all public buses in the city, including bus stops, tourist attractions and hospitals. It helps citizens and visitors learn how to transfer buses.

In the first half of this year, Zhangjiagang has improved its public transport network. The maps for public bus routes have been set up in 207 bus shelters, occupying 53 percent of the total in urban areas. In the future, the city will put up more maps in rural areas to provide more convenience for locals.
